FAMILY REUNIONS – VITAL CONNECTIONS

Point Lookout, MainePoint Lookout, Maine

We’ve found a GREAT venue for summer family reunions in the beautiful State of Maine, which advertises itself as “The Way Life Should Be!” We think you’ll agree that Point Lookout, overlooking beautiful Penobscot Bay offers an exceptional place to gather and play! The charming rustic decor, airy screened-in porches, and spacious layouts bring an air of casual elegance to the 106 luxurious guest cabins at Point Lookout. While you’ll feel like you’re a million miles away from the hectic pace of daily life, you can stay connected to work and home with wireless Internet and cable TV in each cabin. And activities abound! From tall-masted Schooner sails to “in the rough” Lobster bakes; from Lighthouses to lazy days on the beach; and from woodland hikes to kayaking adventures, Generations Touring Company can help you create an unforgettable Family Reunion!

SWINE FLU – TERRIFYING OR TOO MUCH MEDIA HYPE

While we are taking all prudent precautions for our travelers, we are really wondering just how bad this really is. We have heard medical experts contend that this flu is no worse than the “normal” flu, which has been around forever…… and only one person (a Mexican!) has died from it in America to date. At the same time, the “normal” flu kills about 300 people a week in the USA.

We do take this flu, and all other potential diseases VERY seriously, but have become convinced that our main stream media has created an unnecessary panic about it. In any situation, at home or on tour, it is important to be vigilant about hygiene-Wash your hands, stay home if you’re sick and listen to your local health authorities.. But don’t stop living because you’re afraid of catching the flu!… And the World Health Organization has said that there is no need for people to cancel travel plans.
